This sample platter for two was delish. It was my first time eating at Banana leaf.

The food was good but the service was good at the beginning and then it died off near the end. Leaving us waiting a while for desert and our bill.

High Tea and Teahouse

IMG_1668
B- treats me in the morning to some High Tea. I've never been to one of these before. I don't think he has either but it was nice. We sat and talked about political matters and how I confessed that I just don't understand some. How Occupy Vancouver was costing more problems then it was solving. All in all my time with B- is always enjoyable. IMG_1673 I don't think I could get bored of what he says, thinks, and sometimes his actions are unpredictable. Sometimes predictable because of the fact of personality. Babes had a good heart. Later after our awesome meal I decided to go to Tiffany's and get myself a necklace. I was thinking of getting a white gold one, but seeing how thin and small that chain was I went with a sterling silver long ball chain necklace since I've lost my other chain.

In the evening it was one of B-'s friends birthday dinner's at the Teahouse in Stanley Park. I ordered a lamb chop which was well cooked and delicious. However I can't say all the meals were great.

Happy Three Months

The day started out with work and ended with much much more. A bouquet of flowers was the first gift to me for our three months. B- surprised me with treat. Mine and his first Mani-Pedi. Then we did dinner at The Pink Peppercorn. The food there was delicious :) and perhaps one day we will return for another anniversary.

Working On Remembrance Day

IMG_1645
Working on remembrance day was not a great experience. But getting lunch from steamrollers was good. So filling and felt healthy! But the sauce could have been more interlaced into the food... how I have no idea but it would have made it more ...mmmmmmMMMm Good.

Mid Week Date - Boston Pizza

IMG_1641 IMG_1640 IMG_1639
Well I haven't been to Boston Pizza for a while. B- says is favorite is getting to order the children's drinks but this time he didn't. I had ribs cause well it's that female time of month and for some reason I always crave red meat. I think it's that part of me that needs iron in my body. The food was very well cooked. I expected less but got so much more. The service was great an I was just in awe of how well the ribs were cooked. I enjoyed my meal and soon after that we headed off to our mid week workout at the gym.

Biodiversity Day @ UBC

Biodiversity date with B-. I had bought this groupon to go to the biodiversity museum at UBC. Before heading to the museum we went back to the place we ate on our first date. - I ordered something different of course and played it safe as the first time it was too much for me to handle. The California roll was good but the beef and rice was a lot for me to stomach. We walked on over to the Museum. I didn't know much about what it would be all about but it turned out to be interesting. Although the beginning was more interesting than the end of it. I practically went through everything. opening drawers that could be opened. The Museum felt more like a Library of the dead of different species of animals. I felt a little sad as I walked about it but the truth is, it's a bit of a necessary in the name of science and when it comes to studying the world and the animals.
I don't remember the restaurant we went to after the museum, the taro bbt was bigger than my head, B-'s tea was good. My beef roll was pretty good and the delicious Siao Long Baos.
