Another gig done, time to sleep :)

This was another photography booth gig we did. It may be the last of our Christmas / New Years Season... and the first of 2015.

For sure I'm noting some things are still needed to refine our setup. Photo-taking ease, a faster printer? More clips for the back drop so the wrinkles don't annoy me as much.

I don't mind doing this gig, because it doesn't feel like work to me. Just having some fun with a friend. Nothing gives me more pleasure than watching others enjoy for a moment of being a kid again, getting to play dress up, even if it's for a few seconds.

I've noticed a few things I'm constantly seeing be a photographer.

There are many people who want to take photos but seem to be afraid of the camera. Don't! We are going to try our best, to help you get a great and memorable photo you'll love!

Don't worry about getting cozy or snuggling up to your friends in a group photo.
Want to take a photo in a large group?... well you're going to hear me say..
"OKAY! GET COZY! and SNUGGLES!"

 Look at the camera, not the monitor.
I catch myself doing this, I am also guilty. So I don't really blame others when they do it too. In all the shoots I have found myself saying..."CAMERA, CAMERA, CAMERA!" - My bud, Vikaash says it just sounds awkward coming out of him when we start shooting... I have no hesitations about shouting this out at any time of day or shoot.

 Sometimes people just need some direction
It's strange but it's true, sometimes some people just need to have some assistance. That's what we're there for.

DISNEYLAND TRIP: DAY 2

It's the beginning of day two, we wake up pretty early to get to there pretty early. Our breakfast place of choice was perhaps not the best. Ihop was the only place we thought would suffice. The service I might say was actually really good. Downfall, the restrooms smelled like chicken poop. Why?! we had no idea. We both agreed not to question it. I don't think any of us took pictures of our breakfast this day, Yes, today we are dressed to represent . We are proud to be who we are and say where we come from. :) We walk in and things seem a little unreal, and as we enter towards the small town within Disney we see our first Disney guy get to take a couple of shots with Pluto :) We saw Mickey, and just as we lined up a girl tells us that they've closed off the line for now and that he would return 15 - 20 minutes. BJ and I spot these little boxes that seem to be 3d picture boxes of a re-created scene from a Disney cartoon. LOVE IT! just Beautiful.   We

Happy 2012

I've been contemplating for a while to write my first post of the year. I wondered how it would be like. What would I say and in the end it came to the point where I was simply just thinking too much. ( Thinkitus ) This holiday season was full of festivities and events. Some with such a long line up that we just walked away from the event ( festival of lights. ) I hope it really snows next year so the lights can be that much more prettier. This year the new year was spent the way it should have always been. How every new year should be rung in and spent with someone you love. Family. Friends. This Christmas and new years was very different from the last. This year I didn't get a lot ( physical possessions ) but I did get a lot out of it. B-'s friends over the holidays have made me see the insight of how much family love there is there that surrounds him.
