Hike To The Top

Image
We go for a hike to the chief, peak 2. Photo by: TW The day started not so well, it felt as though BJ had ripped my soul apart. You know when someone wakes you from a deep deep sleep. Your brain just doesn`t seem to adjust as quickly as if you were to be woken up naturally. That`s exactly what happened. Most of the hike was difficult because - one - I`m out of shape. Second - because I`m still half asleep. Note to self: At The Chief, there is a big public washroom. Do not go to the portable potties that is right by the parking lot. Do not listen to the boys when they tell you that there are no more washrooms beyond that point.   That`s what happened to me. I held my breath and went to the out house and a few steps later there was the giant public washroom and the boys went to pee there -_- *sigh*  I can only say that I woke up on the way up to peak 2, it was because if I didn`t pay attention, I would die. I later tell this story to my sister, wh...

Science World - Lego FUN

Image
I can't really re-call when the last time I went to Science World, it was probably when my cousin was here to visit. But LEGO was one big thing that I had to go see when they were in town. I kind of wanted to do the Adult event that was at night- but it never happened. This was the same day that the Lego store was opening up at Oakridge mall - we did go to check it out, but the lines were just too long. It was pretty cool though how they got a bunch of kids to participate to build a giant R2D2. Too bad me and B- found it to look like child labor masked as building lego fun.

Life Goal #21. Sit In A Field of Tulips

Image
@ the Tulip Festival in Agassiz Sometimes it's nice to do something ~ you've always wanted to do. Even if it takes a few hours to get there, months of waiting, or even years. The site of the colors, the journey, the moment - it is all worth it. That's life and what it should be all about. Life Goal #21. Sit in a field of tulips - [ DONE ]

Woodland Park Zoo Day!

Image
My day at Woodland Park Zoo, was  interesting. I sadly thought that the elephant encloser was too small for the elephants. Most of the animals were sleeping. In the flamingo pit, it's clear to see that the loon and his female companion and crows and a white goose was eating up their food that was scattered all around. Scavengers! - But I'm happy to have seen all of the animals they had there on exhibit. The most rare look was the last one of the Jaguar. Where you barely even see in my photo. It happened so fast it was simply a blur. The Orangutangs were a little silly with their burlap sacks. B- was happy he got to see an Ostrich. All in all a fun and ANIMAL filled day :) I got some great shots. My favorite might just be the glimpse I got to get of the Gorilla. - not the sleeping one, the one through the leaves. I hope you enjoy look at my zoo day photos! :) - good morning, good afternoon, good night.
