Mine was pretty sweet His looked so delish!

On this day boyfriend decided to take the whole day off to spend with me. ( I didn't know ) And wondered in the morning why he didn't wake up for work. We spent the morning Winners hopping- in other words, shopping at various Winners locations. I simply enjoyed spending the day with him :) We head on over to Steveston today for dinner, ice cream ( the best hazelnut ice cream EVER! from Timothy's Cafe ) Where the waffle is nice and warm and fresh!  We also go and get a pizza! A seafood pizza from Steveston Pizza Co. - It was a different kind of pizza for sure. Later that night I got a wonderful gift from him ♥, What it is, I'll share with you another day.

Went to this restaurant with the company of mom and dad. Dad is a secret foodie at heart. He's eaten here a few times and though it was "alright". If it's good enough that brings us here, it should be good to consume.  You can read my review on  yelp . My Review as on Yelp: At first when you look at the name of the restaurant, you believe that it's all Chinese - As it's letters are the biggest on the sign. 百喜海鮮酒家. Their actual name is "Park Here Seafood Restaurant" in English, some maybe like me and believe that "Park Here" meant - park here.  Someone sounded out the Chinese words "百喜" for it's English name, it's English translation is really "Hundred Happiness" or "Hundred Delights". We get a private room, a waiter that looks like a little younger version of Bradley Cooper. What's not to like. The question should be, what's not to LOVE? - that's the food. Seared Gulf Shrimp, Butternut Squash, Ginger and Basil ( top left )  - I somewhat enjoyed this dish, it's flavors were light and complimented well. Soy and Sweet Wine Lacquered Pork Cheek with Celery and Apple Salad ( top right )  - I thought this dish was over flavored, in another sense too salty, mine was cooked well but a little dry here and there. There is a key to eating these desserts and I'll let you know what it is. You cannot really enjoy these dishes unless you eat a little bit of each piece all together at once. Yes, some people out there don't know that. You can't eat a 3 piece dessert one section at a time ( well you can, but you won't enjoy it as much).   We go for a hike to the chief, peak 2. Photo by: TW The day started not so well, it felt as though BJ had ripped my soul apart. You know when someone wakes you from a deep deep sleep. Your brain just doesn`t seem to adjust as quickly as if you were to be woken up naturally. That`s exactly what happened. Most of the hike was difficult because - one - I`m out of shape. Second - because I`m still half asleep. Note to self: At The Chief, there is a big public washroom. Do not go to the portable potties that is right by the parking lot. Do not listen to the boys when they tell you that there are no more washrooms beyond that point.   That`s what happened to me. I held my breath and went to the out house and a few steps later there was the giant public washroom and the boys went to pee there -_- *sigh*  I can only say that I woke up on the way up to peak 2, it was because if I didn`t pay attention, I would die.
