Waiting for the berries to ripen

Image
There is a large stretch of black berry bushes by my home. I am patiently waiting for them to ripen so I can pick some this year. Last year I wasn't able to go out and get some as I was away on vacation in Hawaii. I wonder if any friends would like to join me in picking some berries when they are ready. :)

Park Here Seafood Restaurant

Went to this restaurant with the company of mom and dad. Dad is a secret foodie at heart. He's eaten here a few times and though it was "alright". If it's good enough that brings us here, it should be good to consume.  You can read my review on  yelp . Cat Portraits

I wanted to post this series sooner, even the progression of the work but could not ruin the surprise. I hope that the couple enjoy the pieces for many years to come. Congratulations to them on their marriage.

Today was Canada Day, during the day we went to go visit some friends and in the evening I went to Lan's place for dinner. BBQ with the family, our Parents & Her future in-laws. After a bit of attempts to jam together guitar and ukulele, it was getting late. I headed over to Dad's place to attach a printer to his computer before heading back home. On our way home we noticed fireworks in the distance. As we drove down a large hill towards Scott Road, we noticed we got a clear view of some firework displays. We stopped on the road side. After we pulled over to enjoy the show, it wasn't long after other cars (3-5) behind us realized what we were doing and pulled over to enjoy the show as well. I didn't know if we were bad influences or not, but sometimes you have to stop and
