Creatively Refreshing

-
Wow, I just watched the movie Scott Pilgrim Vs The World. I must say I haven't watched anything that was so visually refreshing in such a long time. I mean it is the movie for our generation, anyone who was born in the 80's I guess. References to sound becoming visuals remind me of batman. The VS. battles remind me of street fighter and mortal combat. ( yes I know what those games are, I used to be a tom boy and play those games with my guy friends on super NES and a game console that was once called the Sega - damn what ever happened to that system? } The animated visuals that seem to streamline the thoughts of our imagination are brought out beautifully in some strange way with well coordinated music as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. So mind blowing and I was giggling / laughing out loud every five to ten minutes .. I think it may have even been shorter. All I can say is I loved it. Awesome! Go see it if you haven't. I don't think it would bore you unless you're too old or too young to understand all the references that this movie is pulling from. I'm so glad to see a Canadian film so wildly entertaining, so well put together in visual, storyline and I even enjoyed a lot of the music. WOW... I would so buy this movie when it comes out on DVD... can't wait.

Do You Remember Asian Avenue?

-
Since starting to do youtube videos, I started to get personal messages / people visiting my blog to chat with me who turned out to recognize me from some where. They couldn't put their hands on it until they mentioned Asian Avenue and I told them what my nickname was. BB_Mouse. I used to be in the 604chat a lot chatting up and meeting new people. Majority was promoting. But I did meet a lot of great people and friends from there that I chat and still friends with till this day. So I decided to ask on youtube if other people remember Asianavenue.com before it turned to asianave.com. If more 604 people recognize me, great because I did lose touch with a lot of great friends who I met on there. I hope to maybe get back in touch to see how they are now doing.

Happy 2012

I've been contemplating for a while to write my first post of the year. I wondered how it would be like. What would I say and in the end it came to the point where I was simply just thinking too much. ( Thinkitus ) This holiday season was full of festivities and events. Some with such a long line up that we just walked away from the event ( festival of lights. ) I hope it really snows next year so the lights can be that much more prettier. This year the new year was spent the way it should have always been. How every new year should be rung in and spent with someone you love. Family. Friends. This Christmas and new years was very different from the last. This year I didn't get a lot ( physical possessions ) but I did get a lot out of it. B-'s friends over the holidays have made me see the insight of how much family love there is there that surrounds him. Family not just in blood, but the family you choose to create with - the friends around you. So many of them so for...

The Organizing of Secret Agent Training

-
Image
So a month before we headed out to our yearly summer trip. After hearing B~ didn't have the WHOO HA of a Bachelor party. I thought I would put plan something that would tie in his groomsmen, and something to also celebrate the 5 year anniversary of our 1st date. All to fall on our weekend get away. I rounded up the friends going on the trip, giving them the heads up of what I'm planning and bought all the gear and planned and spent my time wisely on what I could DIY. I also had to google "How to be a secret agent" - which was funny and interesting at the same time. Why "Secret Agent Training" ? - Well, B~ constantly has dreams [ sleeping dreams ] of being a secret agent and always going off on random missions and adventures. So I thought why not bring that excitement to life and put his secret agent skills to the test. Here were some set up and run through of how the games went. It would all start off with our friend Tom dropping off a package to B~ th...
